Balance & Falls Confidence

Physiotherapy for balance, strength and falls confidence — evidence-informed assessment and a practical home plan, for older adults and the families who support them.

When confidence on your feet has slipped.

Whether you’ve had a fall, a near-miss, or just feel less steady, a tailored plan can help you move with more confidence.

  • Feeling unsteady or fearful of falling
  • A recent fall or near-miss
  • Reduced strength or mobility with age
  • Returning home after a hospital stay
  • Wanting to stay independent and active
  • Families and care managers seeking support

Gary Chen, AHPRA-registered physiotherapist and founder of GC Integrative, uses a whole-person assessment model — combining validated balance screens, strength profiling and confidence-building progressions — to reduce falls risk and support independent living.

Scope & safety. Balance and falls-confidence physiotherapy is delivered by an AHPRA-registered physiotherapist within professional scope. We support balance and falls confidence, no program can prevent all falls. It supports, and does not replace, your GP or specialist care. If symptoms are severe or worsening, contact your GP or call 000.
Can you prevent all falls?
No, no program can. We work to reduce risk and build the strength, steadiness and confidence that help you stay active.
I’ve already had a fall, can you help?
Yes. Gary Chen conducts a comprehensive balance and falls-risk assessment, sets recovery goals with you and your family, builds a structured physiotherapy plan, and coordinates with your GP or care team where helpful.
Can you see me at home or in my village?
Home and facility visits are available, see Aged Care & Villages.
Do families or care managers get updates?
Yes, with your consent, we can share progress and a home plan.
What funding can I use?
GC Integrative accepts private fees with private health rebates where eligible. Some clients access funding through the Support at Home program, CHSP or NDIS. See Pricing for detail.
