Common questions

Can physiotherapy help with falls and balance problems?
Yes. An AHPRA-registered physiotherapist can assess your strength, gait, stepping reactions and confidence, then design a personalised program. GC Integrative also offers Physio-Qi group movement, which is qigong-informed therapeutic movement designed specifically to support balance within physiotherapy scope.
Is GC Integrative suitable for older adults?
Yes. Care is tailored to every mobility level — seated, supported and standing options are available. Programs are safety-screened and paced to individual goals, whether at home, in a retirement village or aged-care facility.
What is the Physio-Qi Method?
The Physio-Qi Method is a physiotherapist-designed approach that blends slow movement, breath coordination and balance work with clinical assessment and the GC Health Model's six-stage cycle. It is evidence-informed and delivered within AHPRA physiotherapy scope — it is not traditional qigong and makes no cure claims.
Do you offer Chinese-speaking care?
Yes. GC Integrative offers care in English and Traditional Chinese / Mandarin (繁體中文/華語). This helps patients and families discuss pain, movement, falls risk and whole-person health in the language most natural to them.
How is GC Integrative different from a standard physiotherapy clinic?
GC Integrative combines AHPRA-registered physiotherapy with the GC Health Model — a whole-person framework addressing both structural and regulatory health domains. Eastern movement techniques such as Physio-Qi are used as evidence-informed adjuncts within physiotherapy scope, not as stand-alone treatments.
What funding pathways are supported?
GC Integrative works with a range of funding arrangements. Contact the clinic to discuss what applies to your situation — individual assessment determines suitability and no outcome is guaranteed.
