Physiotherapy services are provided by AHPRA-registered physiotherapist(s) within their professional scope of practice. GC Integrative does not provide medical, psychological or psychiatric treatment, and does not replace your GP, medical specialist, psychologist, psychiatrist or emergency services. Where appropriate, we will refer you to those services.

No outcomes are guaranteed and individual results vary from person to person. We make no cure, miracle or guaranteed-result claims. Always seek the advice of a qualified health practitioner with any questions you may have regarding a medical or health condition.

Privacy Policy

GC Integrative is committed to protecting your privacy. We handle personal and health information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). The entity responsible for managing personal information collected through this website and our practice is GC Integrative Physiotherapy & Wellness.

What we collect

• Enquiry or referral details, including the reason for your enquiry and any referrer information.

• Relevant health information that you provide so we can assess and support your care.

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to provide and coordinate your care, and to communicate with you about your appointments and treatment. We only use your information for the purposes for which it was collected, or for closely related purposes you would reasonably expect.

Health information

Health information is collected and stored with care and treated as sensitive information. We share health information with your GP, your referrer or your wider care team only where it is appropriate to do so and, where required, with your consent.

Storage & security

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal and health information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This includes secure handling and storage of records, and limiting access to authorised people only.

Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We disclose personal information only as needed to provide your care, to people you have authorised, or as required or permitted by law.

We retain personal and health information for as long as required to provide care and to meet our legal obligations. Health records are generally retained for a minimum of seven (7) years from the date of last service or, for a person who was a minor at the time, until they reach 25 years of age, consistent with Australian health-records requirements.

Personal information is stored on systems located in Australia. We do not routinely disclose your personal information to recipients outside Australia. Where a third-party service provider we use stores data overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
